1. Information We Collect

ModelEngineFans.com does not ask you for personal information, and we do not operate accounts, newsletters or comment forms. What we collect is limited to anonymised usage data — pages visited, time on site, approximate region, device and browser type, and which product links are clicked. We do not sell data, and we do not combine it with anything that identifies you personally.

2. Affiliate Links

This site contains affiliate links. We participate in the Amazon Associates Program and in the Awin affiliate network, through which we work with retailers including Stirlingkit and Enginediy, as well as with some merchants directly. When you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This never affects the price you pay.

Affiliate links carry a tracking identifier so the retailer can attribute a sale to this site. Retailers typically set their own cookie when you arrive — commonly lasting 30 days — which is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

3. Cookies and Your Choice

If you are in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask on your first visit whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies, and nothing that sets a cookie or a tracking identifier runs before you accept. That includes ads: none are requested until you accept. If you decline, the site works exactly the same and no optional tracker is loaded.

Everywhere else these cookies, and the ads, are on by default and you can opt out at any time. Your default is not saved; it is worked out again on each visit until you make a choice yourself.

We tell the two apart with two signals, and either one is enough to put you in the first group. Our host, Vercel, reports the country of your IP address, and we store only the result (Europe or not) in a cookie called visitor_region that expires after one day; the address itself is not stored. Your browser also reports its time zone; if it is set to a European zone, or cannot be read, we ask.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline: nothing optional loads and we do not ask. Whether it was sent is kept in a one-day cookie called visitor_gpc. A choice you make on this site yourself takes precedence over the signal.

One further exception is the contact page, which loads Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It runs without asking because the form cannot work without it, it appears on no other page, and it is used only to check that submission, never to profile you or follow you around the site.

Two measurement tools run regardless of your choice: Umami and Vercel Analytics. Both are cookieless, collect only aggregate page-view data, and cannot identify or follow you between sites.

You can change your decision at any time with the round cookie button in the bottom-left corner of every page, with “Cookie Settings” in the footer, or by . Your choice is stored locally in your own browser, not on our servers, so clearing site data resets it. When you decline after cookies were set, the page reloads and the analytics, advertising and Klyqq cookies this site set are deleted.

4. Third-Party Services

Subject to your choice above, we may load:

Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager — audience and traffic measurement.
Klyqq — page engagement and which product links are clicked.
Google AdSense — advertising. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings; see also how Google uses data from partner sites.

Running at all times, without cookies:

Umami — self-hosted, cookieless page-view statistics.
Vercel — hosting, plus cookieless analytics and performance measurement.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Messages sent through the contact page are handled by our own form service, which emails them on and does not store or share them. Your address is used to reply and nothing else — there is no newsletter and no mailing list.

5. Your Rights

This site is aimed primarily at readers in the United States, but we apply the same standard to everyone. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct or erase personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what is collected and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share it. Because we hold no account or contact details, the most direct way to exercise these rights is to decline analytics cookies and clear your browser data.

6. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
